Relax Beach


It is an installation that sees a video projection combined with a painted canvas. The two images are namely superimposed by projecting the digital image on the top of the painting and this is in order to create a vibrant optical illusion. This illusion represents that of the paradisiac island, the place tourists yearn for and tour operators pretend to sell. Painted geographical maps are part of the installation and help the viewers orient by giving them a recognizable position and a specific morphology, as if it was possible to reach and access. A sort of flutter between illusion and reality.
